Message	I guess I'd agree with ash in that it is by design over engineered. But the result is plain to see - a no compromise design. Sure you have some exhaust stuff (emissions) and some weight stuff (saftey), but with those required exceptions this car was no compromise in 1989. And the result is that with money and tweaking it can hold its own even against today's (and hopefully tomorows) best.
